Obituary of Adeline Isabol Campbell

Passed away peacefully on May 7th at Huronlea Home in her 99th year.

Beloved wife to the Late Harold (2007) for 69 years.

Loving mother to William (Diana) Campbell, Nancy (Albert) Wasson, & Frances (Steve) Bearss.

Grandma to 13, great grandma to 36 and great great grandma to 5.

Predeceased by son Dwight and spouse Joan, grandson Curtis Campbell, 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren.

Adeline was born on Brandon Line near Brussels in 1923. After moving to Brussels but being flooded out her family eventually settled in Blyth.

Adeline loved to sing and spent part of her life singing at CKNX Radio and with the Blyth United Church Choir for almost 70 years.

Adeline worked as a seamstress, doing alterations for her community and sewed a few wedding dresses for her family and friends.

She was a very artistic person, she loved to paint and draw and was quite talented. She liked to draw ‘Gibson Girls’ with their fancy hairstyles and dresses.

Adeline always kept her family close and enjoyed watching them blossom.

Adeline was a very easy going, sweet and gentle woman who shared her smiles and kind words unconditionally. She will be greatly missed.
