When my Dad, Cliff Marks married Eileen Sanderson, I was never sure of the connection of everyone but Millie seemed to always be there. I will always remember her as a very caring, how are you, what are you doing, type of person. I always thought a lot of her. As a daughter of a loving man who married her Aunt - she was certainly an inspiration to me, how devoted she was to her family. I remember her telling me about her Kitchener visits which were so special to her. I hope you all find it in your hearts to remember all the good about her. She was a lovely lady, I will always remember her. My Step Mother Eileen thought the world of her and her family as well......and so did my Dad. Hugs to all!
Many years ago as a beginning teacher at Howick Central School Millie was my "go to" person. She had all the answers and was a god send for me. I liked the way she added humour to the workplace and although she was of my mother's generation I thought of her as a friend. It has been a long time since I moved away, but I have often thought of her and how well she did her job. She remains in my memory the woman from thirty - five years ago who was fun, helpful and professional.

I have very fond memories of your Mother, Millie over the years. Also of going to George, Annie's and Aunt Maggie's years ago when they were on the farm. My two children remember the chocolate pie they had when they were there. They were very young but still remember. Our condolences to all the family in this time of grief. I am not sure if I will be able to get to the service on Thursday . My prayers are with you. I have a picture some where of Millie, Lenore and Ray sitting in lawn chairs at some family gathering. Catherine and I wish to extend our sincerest sympathy to Millie's family and friends. The years I taught at Howick Central School I found her to be a compassionate and caring advocate of children and always willing to be of assistance to all. She will be deeply missed.

So sorry we are unable to attend the service for dear Millie. I will always cherish my fond memories of Millie - visiting Camp Borden, learning how to type at Howick Central, visiting at Paul Bunyon and Aintree camp grounds and "cleaning house" at Fordwich!
