I was unaware until today of Marjorie's passing. Actually as well as Bill's. I had the pleasure of their friendship through their daughter Peggy. This wonderfull couple welcomed myself and many students from a special school program that I and Peggy worked in together for many years. Annually they would have us for lunch and a delightful afternoon. They brought much joy to those needy children as well as the staff who accompanied. I know there was a place waiting for them in heaven.

To all the Humphries Family,
Brenda and I are very sorry for your loss. My memories of Marjory and Bill are very vivid, even though much time has past. Your Dad taught me much about the grocery business and your mom taught me to always laugh even when times are tough. I will keep them in my thoughts always.

Roger and family,
I was so sorry to hear about your moms passing.
Your mom was the sweetest woman, we all loved when she would make us her chocolate chip cookies and bring them to McGavins for us for break. They were the best! You and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Roger,Susan,Paul,Peggy,Greg and families. Such a sad week. Wish I was there to give you all a hug. Remembering all the good times we had growing up together with just the back yard between us. Lots of good memories of time spent at your house. I remember your Mom and Dad taking us to the drive - in , in our pjs when we were small, I’m sure the expectation was we were to fall asleep so they could enjoy the show! Not sure that happened.
Hold on to those memories of your Mom. She was a wonderful lady and will be truly missed. Walton won’t be the same without her. Love Kim and George, Andrew and Bryce

Our sympathies on the passing of Marjory. I have many fond memories of Bill and Marjory growing up in Walton. My go to was always going to the general store for chocolate chunks and chocolate milk with Dad at the welding shop. Such wonderful neighbours over the years for the Carter family. We will hold you all in our thoughts and prayers.
