Eleanore Viola (Carson) Gibson of Listowel, formerly of Wroxeter passed away Sunday, April 23rd, 2006 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Born in Gorrie on February 8th, 1924 Eleanore was in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Art Gibson. Dear mother of Arthur Gibson and his wife Cyndy of London, Ronald Gibson and his fianc�e Darlene Houston of Belmore, Marcia Gibson of London and Louise Payne of Gorrie. Loving grandmother of Andy, Rikki, Jessi, Jake, Devin, Corbin, Dillon, Jennifer, Cheryl, Janine, Yvonne, David and Monika and great-grandmother to Alexandra, Olivia, and Julia. Also loved by her sisters-in-law Reta Carson of Kitchener, Margaret Carson of Brockville, Agnes Burke of Wingham and Laura Gibson of Listowel. Predeceased by her parents Everard and Reta Carson and brothers Richard and Norman. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted from Wroxeter United Church on Wednesday, April 26 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Wroxeter United Church, Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
