To the family of Eleanore, Marcia phoned Sunday with the news about Eleanore. We were very saddened. We will miss her very much. I have very fond memories since we met in 1947. -visits to Gorrie {her mother's great angle food cake} -visits to our cottage -many trips we shared -and of course her wedding during Hurricane Hazel {Reta will remember that} We are very sorry we can't make the trip to the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Our memories of Eleanore will always be the same. "Hello Dear"..."How are you?" She always listened and truly cared about the people around her. Eleanore was my piano teacher (I was one of the many students she taught)and her neighbour. I remember the days of feeding the chickens in the back and her calling me over to show me a new flower in the garden. Hold your memories close - God Speed Eleanore....

Dear Art and Family, I know what a difficult time this is having just lost my Mother in March of this year. No matter how prepared we think we are this is such a painful time. I keep reminding myself that those waiting to see her are as happy as I am sad. Her joy at being reunited with old friends and loved ones is just beginning. I know you will always be grateful for the impact that she had on your lives and that you are a better person for having her in your life. Art I will think of you so often over the next few days, you are in my heart. Gloria

Dear Family of Eleanore Gibson, I hope this message get's through to you. I just sent one but I think I did something wrong as the message disappeared off my screen and the sent box does not record it. I wanted you to know how much I thought of your Mom. I was very sorry to read of Eleanore's Death in the Free Press yesterday. My memories of your Mother go back to my childhood. She stayed at our place when she attended High School in Wingham. On My 6th birthday, she and Janice Marks planned and held a Fantastic Party for me. I still use the Donald Duck Lamp that they gave me. It is on the dresser in the spare room and every time that I see it I think of them. I had several visits with Eleanore when I was going to Wingham to visit my Mother in the Nursing Home. My time with your Mom was very calming for me before I drove home. She was a very caring person. I did not see her as often as I wanted to in the last few years but I often thought of her. Her newsy letters and cards were always welcome. My thoughts are with you at this time and I am sorry that I am not able to get up to the visitation. Eleanore (Goy) Bricker
