Leonard Sanderson of RR#1 Gorrie, passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, August 15th,2005 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Christine (Stirling) Sanderson. Dear father of Lauranne Sanderson and husband Lloyd Mapplebeck of Truro, Nova Scotia, Donald Sanderson and wife Fern Donaldson of Puslinch, Joanne Sanderson and husband Rob Annett of Bothwell, Mary Sanderson and husband Michael Park of Fordwich and Melanie Sanderson and husband Danny Miklosko of London, England. Loving grandfather to Lucas and Josiane Mapplebeck; Megan, Emily, Jessica and Leah Sanderson; and Duncan, Clancy, Christie and Maggie Annett. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Sanderson and Luella Gilmar. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted from St. Stephen�s Anglican Church on Thursday, August 18th at 2 PM with Reverend Maggie Myers officiating. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thameswood Lodge or to St. Stephen�s Anglican Church. A Legion Service under the auspices of Howick Legion No. 307 RCL will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 9 PM to be followed by a Masonic Service under the auspices of Forest Lodge No. 162 A.F. & A.M.
