Teresa and family you have my deepest sympathy, I worked for HielKe my first job driving a tractor on the baler and loved doing l It HielKe was super to work fore and get a long with, I will miss him and his jokes.

Elizabeth van Lammeren My deepest sympathy and prayers to Teresa and family. I have lots of wonderful memories of Hielke and Teresa since they had their farm next to ours. My first babysitting job was looking after Tony their first baby a real sweet baby. Then they planted cucumbers and another job for me I was probably about 14 at the time-----very hard job but I was young and Hielke made it fun and Teresa served us cold drinks. My friend June and I would ride on their horse and fell off sometimes all part of growing up on the farm. I was helping Hielke milk cows during a lightning storm and my dads barn got hit and burned Hielke raced over to help to get the animals out. During the winter Hielke and my dad would play table hockey against my brother Peter and I we had fun because we all wanted to win----then my mom would make coffee and lunch beautiful memories. I hold all these memories dear to my heart---Hielke rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Hielke’s family. I always enjoyed talking to him and taking my mother in law to visit him at his store in Auburn on Saturday’s to see his garage sale finds. I cherish fond memories of the funniest uncle I had. Unfortunately, I only experienced him very consciously once when he and Aunt Truus were in Holland for a family visit when I was young. I saw that he was crazy about his little sister, my mother Annie. I enjoyed playing table tennis with him and we had a lot of fun. I am very sorry for your loss, I know you will miss him....
