Bill was always a kind gentle soul. He was courteous and always a good listener. I was honoured to bring him Holy Communion when he was in Elgin Lodge. He had a deep devotion to the Eucharist. He was a strong presence in our Parish and kept us up to date with ongoing events and changes in the news. Fern and I offer our deepest condolences to his family at this difficult time. Bill was a special person to us all. Caring, generous, musical, a teacher, funny, athletic, knowledgeable, and a loving father and brother to his family.
Jack and I have many fond memories of his visit with us during Expo 86, playing tennis and much sports talk. He was such an interesting fellow!
We miss him and will love him forever.
