I was honoured to be one of Edythes Care Givers while she was at Gilbert Hall. Our late night chats were my favourite. My many trips to the store for her apples and cream cheese. More than once she helped me prepare HER toast as I had not quite burnt it enough… ha ha Edythe was always happy to see me and her bright beautiful smile was proof. I could go on about how wonderful she was but you already know that. My condolences to the family. No words can ease your heart break. Hugs to you all OX And Edythe… if you’re reading this…. Close the baby powder lid… it explodes remember :)

I am Pat, Brent Dane's wife. I only met Edythe once, back in 1986 when Brent and I, and Our 2 daughters made the trip east to visit his family. We drove up to Blythe with Lillian and spent the day with Edythe and her family. I was touched by her and her family's warm welcome and generosity. I still remember the meal Edythe made, one of the best I have had. she had the ability to make an ordinary meal exceptional. She phoned Kay regularly and we always got a card and letter from her at Christmas. Our condolences to her family.
