Obituary of Mary Terpstra
Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family she went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 29th at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in her 66th year.
Survived by siblings Emma (Henk) Boersen, Julie (Martin) Van Bakel, Nick (Catherine) Terpstra, Herman (Rosemary) Terpstra, Joe (Miriam) Terpstra, twin sister Joanne De Brabandere and brother Mike Terpstra, sister-in-laws Hennie Terpstra and Catherine Terpstra.
Favourite aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sadly, missed by her housemates Debra and Corrine, and all her caregivers at Community Living.
Predeceased by parents Nicolaas & Johanna Terpstra, siblings Helen Terpstra, Margaret (Bill) Van Nes, Patricia Armstrong, Ben and Charlie Terpstra, nephews Nick Van Nes, Brian Terpstra and Chris Terpstra also her special friend Alf McKee, and her soul sister Debbie Williams.
Due to COVID restrictions a private Catholic Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday June 1st at 10 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Please join via live stream on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RiversideFuneralHomeInc.
Interment in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Brussels.
