To all of Mert's family, We send our sincere sympathy to each of you. Many memories (good and unfortunate) come to our minds as we say goodbye to a long time resident of the 12th of McKillop (Huron East). Mert could always be counted on to "give a hand" with any request required of him - maybe as long as no money was involved!! All the neighbourhood kids spent a great deal of time at our pond and Blaine, Craig and your brother Jeff were so welcomed when they cleared the snow for the community skating times. We always admired Doreen's gardening skills and her yearly goal was to have "new potatoes" ready to harvest for Mert's birthday in July. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Marie and Neil
