Hazel V. (Stockton) Pyke, formerly of Gorrie, passed away at Caressent Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Thursday, October 20th, 2011. Born in Minto Township on November 17th, 1918, Hazel was in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford E. Pyke (July 8th, 2007). Dear mother of Jeannette Hall and her husband Claude of Burford, Joyce Beyers of Clifford, Brian Pyke and his wife Linda of Listowel and Glen Pyke and his wife Carol of Wroxeter. Also love by her sisters of Dorothy Pearce of Tilbury and Joan Austin of Petawawa, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son-in-law Donald Beyers. Friends will be received by the family from 1 PM till time of the funeral service being conducted on Sunday, October 23rd at 2:00PM at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Wroxeter Cemetery As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
