Obituary of Mabel Edith Orth

Passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Monday December 24^th, 2018 in her 98^th year.

Loving Mother to Marg Lee, Glen Orth & fiance Debbie Swan and the late Reginald Calvin Orth (2003).

Grandmother to James and Kevin Hanna and Timothy Orth.

Great grandmother to Christine (Carl), Kelly (Christopher), Logan and Ashton Hanna.

Great great grandmother to Joanne, Jackie, Jordan, Leighosa, Sadonah, Kyla, Landen and Roan.

Sister-in-law to Hazel and Verna Orth.

Predeceased by loving husband Reuben George Orth, Sisters Vera Lucas, Ethel Shewan and brother Howard Clark.

Mabel was a committed member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and Women’s Institute, United Senior Citizens of Ontario, Listowel Agricultural Society and a past leader of 4H. Mabel went back to school in her 50’s and became a Registered Nurse’s Assistant.

Friends and family will be received at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 29^th at 11 a.m for visitation followed by the Funeral Service at 12. Fellowship and light lunch to follow the Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and/or the Alzheimer’s Society of Perth or Huron County would be appreciated.
