Passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2017 at Stratford General Hospital, Adam Smith in his 75th year. Beloved husband to Kae for 49 years. Loving Dad to Fran Patterson & David (Patricia) Smith. Adoring Grandpa to Will, James, Tyler (Ashley), Lanie-Joy (Brandt), Jenna, Nathanael, Hannah, Sarah and Joseph. Great Grandfather to Silas & Callam.
Brother to Ann, Carol (Bill), Joe (Linda), Cora (Ron), Pauline (Bill). Brother-in-law to Henry Gackstetter.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Joe & Laura, sisters Josephine and Laura, sister Doreen and brother-in-law Deb Stewart, brother-in-law Ross Alcock, Ed Steinbach, Louie Theil, Bud Hicks and sister-in-law Sandra Gackstetter.
Adam enjoyed life and his family, he was always smiling. He was outgoing and genuinely loved to visit friends and family. He always made people feel happy and sincerely wanted.
Friends and family will be received at Riverside Funeral Home for visitation on Wednesday October 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Legion Service Starting at 6:30p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Brussels. Interment at St John’s Cemetery.
