Pearl (Carnochan) Shaw of Brussels passed away peacefully at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011. Born in Grey Township on October 4th, 1911, Pearl was in her 100th year. Pearl was the beloved wife of the late Alex Shaw who predeceased her on December 26th, 1980. Dear mother of Harvey and Betty Shaw of Brussels, Jim and Frances Shaw of Bluevale, Dorothy Thompson of Bluevale and Edith and John Pipe of Brussels. Also loved by her daughter in law Carol Shaw of Bluevale, her 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Jack, her granddaughter Donna Thompson, her grandson Neil Pipe and her son in law Jim Thompson. Friends will be received by the family 1½ hours prior to the funeral service being conducted at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Friday, June 24th at 2:00 PM. Burial in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Melville Presbyterian Church.
