Obituary of Harold Bridge

Harold Bridge of Brussels, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Friday, February 11th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Arthur on November 4th, 1940, Harold was in his 71st year. Harold was the beloved husband of Karen and will be sadly missed by his children Colleen and Chris Paranyi of Kitchener, Verne and Nancy Bridge of Brussels, Mike Bridge of Toronto and Shirley Ann and Mike Boven of RR#1 Blyth, his grandchildren Ryan, Kira, Josh, Connor, Devin, Tanner and Avery, his brothers Glenn and Jean Bridge of Brussels, Ben Bridge of Petrolia and Allan and Marilyn Bridge of Wingham Predeceased by his parents George and Jean. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received from 12:30 until the time of the Celebration of Harold's Life on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at 2 PM (beginning with a Royal Canadian Legion Service under the auspices of Brussels Legion No. 218) from Brussels United Church with Pastor Sandra Cable officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
