Marie (Bennett) Coutts, formerly of Walton, passed away at the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, February 5th, 2011. Born in Grey Township on January 22nd, 1931, Marie was in her 81st year.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late William J. Coutts, who predeceased her on December 20th, 2002, and will be sadly missed by daughters Karen Carter and her husband Allan of Seaforth and Connie Cook of Mississauga, her grandchildren Pam and Curt Cummings of Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Cindy Carter and Chris Stewart of Blyth, Vicki and Dwane Leddy of Clinton and Hollie Cook of Burnaby, British Columbia and her great grandchildren Kyra, Camden, Kerrington, Cayden and Callie. Also loved by her brother Ross Bennett and his wife Margaret of Brussels, her sister-in-law Jean Wilbee of Seaforth and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Viola Bennett.
Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Monday, February 7 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Peter Kugba-Nyande of Duff's United Church officiating.
Cremation to follow with interment in Brussels Cemetery at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Duff's United Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
