The members of Mary's RTO district are saddened to hear of her death and send our sympathy to your family. Mary was an active member, always attending meetings and dinners when she was able. She helped us for many years as a phone convenor, getting reminders out to other members when needed. Mary and I had many enjoyable conversations both on the telephone and when I would see her at events. I didn't meet Mary until I retired myself but certainly am happy I did get to know her. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

The Huether family was at the center of almost everything that happened in Brussels as we grew up, and Mary was involved in more activities than I can recount. We will miss her, and send our warmest regards to all the family during this sad time. You are far away, but still in our hearts. George and Shirley

Dear Dave, Angela, Jeff, Kevin and Michelle Thinking of all of you with deepest sympathy on the passing of a dear mother and grandmother. Mary was a special woman who, as a mother, raised a wonderful, loving, caring family who was attentive to her needs. As a teacher, Mary touched the lives of many children in a positive way during her teaching career. I remember your mother being very sociable, hospitable, approachable, and warm-hearted. Mary's life and her accomplishments deserve to be celebrated. We wish all of you and the Huether family strength, peace of mind, comfort from family and friends and cherished memories of Mary to help you get through this difficult time. Love and Blessings to All Diane, Lon, Lisa and Ryan Clark

My memories of Mary include how much she liked parties. I can still hear Murray singing "Oh Danny Boy" and Mary loving the energy of attending and hosting alike. To Brian & Dianne, Dave & Angela, Joy & Roger and Joan & Gary, Sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your mother. I know you will have many fond memories of Mary which you will cherish in the days and years ahead. I think everyone who knew your mother has a memory they could share with you. My memories of both of your parents go back to the days when we would pack both of our families into one car and head to Lake Huron on a Sunday afternoon for a day at the beach. The car would be overflowing with people, food, beach towels, sand pails and lawn chairs. Other memories include watching baseball games with your family at Brussels ball park, and the many large gatherings held at your parents' home, with enough food prepared and served to feed most of the rest of the town of Brussels. May these memories and many more help you to remember the good times we all shared with your mother. Sincerely, Bruce McIntosh, London, Ontario
