Abraham (Bram) VanderVeen of RR#2 Brussels passed away
at his residence on Monday, June 14th, 2010.
Born in Grypskerk, the Netherlands on April 27th, 1929,
Abraham was in his 82nd year.
Beloved husband of Frances.
Loving father of Sylvia and Jack Nonkes of Auburn,
Jeannette McNeil of Lucknow, Andy and Darlene Vanderveen of Blyth, George and Brenda VanderVeen of Markdale,
Frank and Shelly Vanderveen of Elko, BC,
and Robert Vanderveen of home.
Cherished grandfather of Mark, Peter, Aron & Stephanie, and Angela Nonkes, Kyle McNeil, Jody, Andrea, Nikki and Janelle VanderVeen, Allison & Mike, Kelsey, Joel, Kendall, Nicolas and Jamie Vanderveen, and Sadie Jo and Dwight VanderVeen. Dear brother of Nelly Grootveld, Jean and Dick Huisman, Janet and Bernie Scholman. Dear brother in law of Alice Arends, Jantje Hovius, Ralph and Mary Arends.
Predeceased by brothers in law Bouke Hovius, Joop Grotveld and Jake Arends.
There will be a family visitation Thursday morning. A Celebration of the Life of Abraham VanderVeen will be held
on Thursday, June 17th at 2:00 PM from Blyth Christain Reformed Church with Reverend John Kuperus officiating.
Interment in Brussels Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Living Truth, Station B, Box 6100, Toronto, Ontario, M2K 2Z5, would be appreciated.
