Thomas William Pletch of Brussels passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Sunday, June 13th, 2010. Born in Culross Township on January 4th, 1932, Tom was in his 79th year. Tom was the beloved husband of 60 years to Edna (Higgins) Pletch. Cherished father of Karen Cronin and her husband Jim of Seaforth, Don Pletch and his wife Connie of Lucan, Bonnie Hogan and her husband Jim of Lucknow and Steve Pletch and his wife Barb of Calgary. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also loved by his sister Hilda Shilliday of Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his parents Herb and Annie, his brothers Sam, George, Ernie, Wallace, Steven and his sisters Llewella, Gladys, Irene, Anne and Laura. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 16th at 2:00 PM from Brussels United Church with Sandra Cable officiating. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Huronlea Auxillary, Friends of Mengo Hospital or charity of one's choice.
