Obituary of Dewey Adams

Dewey Adams formerly of RR#2 Gorrie, passed away peacefully at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Sunday, April 25th, 2010.
Born in Howick Township on November 21st, 1926, Dewey was in his 84th year.
Dewey will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Gladys (McBurney) of 59 years and his children Don Adams and wife Joyce of Wroxeter, Marion Schefter and husband Jim of RR#1 Gorrie, and Keith Adams and wife Donna of RR#1 Bluevale. Dear brother of Gordon Adams of Listowel and Edith Noble of Gorrie.
Also loved by his grandchildren Mark and Carrie, Dale and Sandra, Adam and Vanessa, Tammy, Todd and Jen and his 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Harry, Jim and Allan.
Friends were received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, April 28th at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Jeff Hawkins.
Pallbearers were Mark Adams, Dale Schefter, Adam Schefter, Todd Thompson, and Ian Adams-Smith.
Interment in Wingham Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to
Gorrie or Wroxeter United Churches or the Howick Fire Department.
