Barbara Anne (Warrington) Nichol of Brussels passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 11th, 2010. Born in London on December 30th, 1936, Barbara was in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ross Nichol for 27 years. Survived by her sons and daughters, Ron Prout and wife Gayle of Walton, Janet Prout and Pete Tuckey of Exeter, Margaret Harris and husband Ian of Shelburne, Hugh Nichol and wife Susan of Kincardine, and Paul Nichol and wife Kathy of Brussels. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters, Elsie Warrington, Dorothy Jackson and husband Cal, and Bea Noyes and husband Larry all of London, Ab Warrington and wife Dorothy of Port Franks, and her older twin sister Irene Roloson of St. Marys. Also loved by her grandchildren Joanna, Daniel, Carolyn, Stefan, Terry, Cody, Josh, Megan, Annie, Dylan, Ethan, and Seth and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Fran Sims and Win Anderson and her brothers Ted and Frank Warrington. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 14th at 1:00 PM with Mr. Don Vair officiating. Cremation with interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
