Margaret H. (de Groot) Hetherington, formerly of Cranbrook,
passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, on Wedneday, December 9th, 2009.
Born in the Netherlands on August 17th, 1925, Margaret was 84 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Hetherington who predeceased her on August 2nd, 1997.
Margaret will be dearly missed by her daughter Helen Manson Hetherington of Cranbrook, her sisters Wilma Swarts, Joann and Perry Henry, and Nelli and Gary Van Dyk and her brother-in-law of Ari Hoogendam all of Brockville.
Also loved by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Gerritt de Groot, sister Rita Hoogendam and brother-in-law Al Swarts.
Friends will be received by the family from 10 AM until time of the funeral service being conducted from Huronlea Home for the Aged on Friday, December 11th at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Fran Donahue.
Burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Huronlea Home for the Aged.
