To all who know grandpa, knew him as a gentle giant. He loved laughing and dancing, but most of all he loved good company. Grandpa came from a large family, had a family of four children of his own, which had families of there own. Thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. We will all miss you greatly but will always remember that you live on in all of us, we all take our own special memories of you and will continue to share our memories with others, this is how we don't forget, and how we cope without you. Love always and forever Taushau and Family

My Name is Bobbi-Jo Telfer daughter of David Telfer and oldest granddaughter. I wanted to share some of my thoughts and memories of my amazing grandfather... If I had to describe my grandfather in one word it would be "Gentle Giant" I remember as a kid thinking wow my grandfather is a giant he also had the biggest hands and the kindest blue eyes. He was always smiling and joking with us kids at christmas he loved sweets, pies and home cooked meals. I have been told so many story about him and how he loved dancing, music and how he would do anything to provide for his family this to me is the greatest role model a grandfather can be for his grandchildren. I am going to miss holding my grandfather big soft hand and teasing him about chasing the nurses. I also wanted to thank my aunt Barb for always making sure he had everything he needed and caring for him. I have been blessed to have had the love of my grandfather my whole life and one day I will pass on these memory to my future children. I love you grandpa with all my heart.
