Alexandra Margaret Scott (nee Hamilton) quietly slipped away in her 94th year at The Willows Estate, Aurora on July 28, 2009. Predeceased by her husband J. Archie Scott. Dear Mother of Edith and her husband Walter Helling. Loving Grandmother of Glen and Sara Helling and Marta and Christian Kingsmill. Adored Great Grandmother of Maitland, Rachel, Hanna and Ryan. Her family and nieces and nephews will miss her. Predeceased by her twin brother Allen Hamilton in 1915. Also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Murray and Helen Hamilton, Ira (Jack) and Vivian Hamilton, Hector and Beatrice Hamilton and her brother-in-law Laurie and Dorothy Scott. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Gorrie United Church officiating. Burial in Gorrie Cemetery, Howick Township. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to the wonderful caring Staff of The Willows Estate, Aurora.
