Rene Vercruyssen of RR#2 Blyth passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at Wingham and District Hospital. Born in Sint-Gillis-Waas, Belgium on May 27th, 1936, Rene was in his 81st year.
Rene was the beloved husband of Jenny Vercruyssen and will be sadly missed by his children Ron of Brussels, Evelyn and Richard of Kitchener and John of Shakespeare. Dear brother of Emilda van Poucke of Amherstburg. Also loved by his 7 grandchildren, his nieces and nephew. Predeceased by his son Danny.
Friends will be received by the family from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM.
Burial in Brussels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
