Isabel (Lowe) Workman passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016. Born in Brussels on March 27th, 1921, Isabel was in her 96th year. Isabel was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Workman (September 5th, 2008). Dear mother of Bonnie Pennington of Brussels, Brian and Jo Anne Workman of RR#5 Brussels, Donna and John Prtenjaca of Ilderton and Jacquie and Paul Gowing of RR#2 Bluevale. Loving grandmother of Mark Pennington, Lisa Pennington, Amy and Bill Fotheringham, Kelly and Kelly Ann Workman, Amanda Workman, Devon and Shelly Prtenjaca, Charla Prtenjaca and Tim Polley, Shea Prtenjaca, Alyssa Gowing, Ben Gowing and Marlee, and Nic Gowing and Sarah. Also loved by her 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Jack Lowe, her granddaughter Ellen Zehr, her son in law John Pennington and 2 great grandchildren. Friends will be received by the family at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, from 1PM till the time of the funeral service being conducted at 2PM on Thursday, December 29th. Interment at Brussels Cemetery this spring. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Brussels United Church or to Brussels Legion No. 218 would be appreciated by the family.
