Kathleen Mary (Gerber) Steckley of RR#1 Bluevale passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, May 28th, 2015. Born in Wellesley Township on July 17th, 1944, Kathleen was in her 71st year.
Kathleen was the beloved wife of 53 years to Arnold Steckley and will be sadly missed by her children Warren and Denise Steckley of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Sherry and Chris Tice of Waterloo. Loving grandmother to Emma, Hannah and Ryan. Dear sister of Florence Rasmussen of Milverton. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Edna Gerber.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels. The funeral service will be conducted from Brussels Mennonite Fellowship, 250 Princess Street, Brussels on Monday, June 1st at 11:00 AM to be officiated by Pastor Ken Gazley with burial to follow in Brussels Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Brussels Mennonite Fellowship would be appreciated by the family.
