Dear Annie's Family, Sending you my heartfelt sympathy at this dificult time.I remember Annie as always having a pretty smile on her face and a happy spring in her walk.I just got use to hearing her name in her hometown of Brussels. Now she's gone again being in heaven with good familier people. I remember this family all moving to Windsor being a kid myself at the time i though it to be quite a move.,Thinking of you at this dificult time Regards LindaJacklin

I am so sad right now. Aunt Anne was a wonderful, caring lady! She and Uncle Lorne were always happy when I would visit, be it in Windsor, your house in Brussels or their motor home parked at mom and dads. I remember the aroma of their bacon and eggs in the frying pan and coffee perking in the morning when I would drop in. They knew how to enjoy the moment and were always ready for a visit. They took Blaine and I on our first real boat ride in Lake Huron. A storm came up and since we were still quite young they made arrangements to get us safely ashore while they stayed with the boat. When she started working at the department store in Windsor she would pick up fun things like Monkee hats for my brothers and she bought me my first Barbie doll. The first time I ever had pizza was at her place. There are so many memories that I could tell but it would fill up the whole online book. Kaile and Quinn are also sad. We would sometimes stay with your mom in Windsor when we would fly home out of Detroit. They thought their Great Aunt Anne was so much fun! Please take comfort in knowing that your mom brought a lot of joy to many people. Love Cheryl

We are deeply saddened to hear about Aunt Anne's passing. Aunt Anne was one of the happiest people we have EVER met. She was always smiling and was quick with a joke. She loved to reminisce and always remembered people and events in the best of ways. She and Uncle Lorne were a perfect match and always made us feel special. I can remember how tolerant they were when Darwin & I would get up to 'mischief' (even though Darwin always started it) and their ability to diffuse each situation with ease. Aunt Anne will always have a special place in our hearts and she will forever be remembered for all the good things she said and did. It is with deep regret that we cannot attend the funeral. We know she would understand and be happy to know that we are spending time and making new memories with family in Colorado.
