I first met Ruth when her daughter Anita and mine, Pam started to be freinds. They just clicked and became very close and true freinds. Over the years Ruth and I would phone each other wondering where are the girls? Are they at your place, how late did they say they would be?? Ruth loved her children very much and worried just as much as I did about mine.
As years went by the girls remained freinds, but drifted away into their own lives. But Ruth and I always talked long and much when we met each other in town, usually getting groceries. Nineteen years ago Ruth and Anita were some of the first people in our drive when my first husband passed away suddenly. I will aways remember the two girls hugging each other and crying. So today when Anita called Pam to tell her of the news, the two of them had a cry together. I am glad the two girls have each other. But I will miss my chats with Ruth.
We were all so very Blessed to have had Ruth in our lives. A dear, caring person who was good to everyone. God Bless and keep you pain free Ruth.
