John Kenneth "Jack" Higgins of Brussels passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24th, 2008 at Listowel Memorial Hospital.
Born in Grey Township on June 23rd, 1939, Jack was in his 69th year.
Beloved husband of Marilyn (Goll) Higgins of 46 years.
Dear father of Ken Higgins and his wife Kim of Brussels and Deb Oliver and her husband John of Wingham.
Loving grandfather to Kody and Taylor Higgins and David and Nicole Oliver and great grandfather to Kohen Brown Oliver
Dear brother of Mary Agnes and Don Edgar of Owen Sound, Bob and Carol Higgins of Blyth, and Anne and Jerry Ward of St. Mary's. Dear brother-in-law of Mel and Lois McArter of Brussels.
Dear nephew of Vera Moffat of Brussels and Lorne McCrackin of Bluevale. Jack will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Alvie and Jean Higgins and in-laws Harry and Lila Goll.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to a Memorial Service to Celebrate Jack's Life on Saturday, March 29th at 2 PM from Melville Presbyterian Church with Reverend Cathrine Campbell officiating.
Interment of cremated remains at Brussels Cemetery in the spring.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Melville Presbyterian Church, or the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.
