Obituary of Marie McTaggart

Marie (Huether) McTaggart passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Monday, May 7th, 2012. Born in Grey Township on May, 18, 1911, Marie was in her 101st year. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Adrian McTaggart and will be sadly missed by her children Neil McTaggart of Brussels, Dale and Inez McTaggart of Sebringville, Kathryn and Keith Schaeffer of Bayfield, and Ruth and Murray Lowe of Brussels. Marie was also loved by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a great grandchild on the way and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her great grandson Joey, her brothers Murray and Glenn and her sisters Evelyn and Dorothy. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the Celebration of Marie's Life being conducted from Brussels United Church on Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Sandra Cable. Interment of cremated remains to take place in Cranbrook Cemetery, Grey Township. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Brussels United Church or the charity of one's choice.
