Mildred May (Thornton) Jacklin of Brussels passed away at LHSC - Victoria Campus on Friday, March 23rd, 2007 Born in Mt. Elgin on March 17th, 1923, Mildred was in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence W. Jacklin. Dear stepmother of Gordon Jacklin and Debbie Cann, Don Jacklin and his wife Joyce, Marlene Rutledge and her husband Brian and Wayne Jacklin all of Brussels. Dear sister of Harold Thornton of Listowel and Jean Noemer of Kitchener. Also loved by her 7 grand and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Edith and sister Margaret. At Mildred�s request, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior to the Celebration of Mildred�s Life being conducted at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Saturday, March 31st at 2:00PM with Mr. Don Vair of Westfield Fellowship officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westfield Fellowship or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
