Laura Eileen (Hislop)(Sanderson) Marks, of RR#2 Wroxeter, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital, on Monday, February 26th , 2007 Born in Howick Township on June 23rd, 1911, Eileen was in her 96th year. Loved wife of the late Clifford Marks and predeceased by her first husband Ross Sanderson and her children Elaine Poirier and Wayne Sanderson. She leaves to mourn her stepchildren David Marks and wife Alice, Stanley Marks, Dorothy Powell and husband Tom, Edith Wilkins and husband James, Millie Phieffer and husband Lloyd, son-in-law Adrien Poirier, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Annie, Evie, Gertie, and Leila and brothers Lawrence and George. Friends will be received by the family from 2to 4 and7 to 9 PM on Friday, March 2nd from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the service will be conducted on Saturday, March 3rd at 1:30 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins of Wroxeter United Church officiating. Spring interment in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Wroxeter United Church.
