Elva Elizabeth Louise (Brown) Cooper of Fordwich, passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 11th, 2006. Born in Howick Township on June 11th, 1908, Elva was in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Wray Cooper. Dear mother of Marilyn Welsh of Nepean and Elizabeth Huether and her husband Gerald of Cambridge. Also loved by her grandchildren Lynn, Yvonne, John, Wray, Coral, Sandra and Tracey, her 16 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Kay and Vera and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Jack Brown and Clayton Brown and her son-in-law John Welsh. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted from Fordwich United Church, on Saturday, July 15th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Fordwich Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Fordwich United Church or the charity of one�s choice.
