I was very sad to read in the London Free Press this morning that Dave had died. The members of Year 60, O.A.C. had heard at our reunion last summer that he was not well and we really missed his cheerful countenance on that occasion. Please accept our sincere sympathy at this very sad time. Paul and Joan Cavers

My wife Dorinda and I extend to all in Dave's family, our sincere sympathy at his passing. Dave and I go back to high school days in Richmond Hill. While he was a couple of years ahead of me, he as a wonderful presence in the school and was widely respected by fellow students and staff. Then we spent our undergraduate days together in the Class of OAC '60. In addition to being classmates, we canoe tripped together with others of our class. There are many memorable moments from those trips. He and I exchanged notes only a month or so ago about our canoeing experiences. I will miss Dave. May he now be at peace and may the memory of his winning smile remind us of a good friend. Sincerely Robbie Keith

Jeanette I was so saddened to read of David's passing in yesterday's paper. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. Please give Jody, along with the rest of your family my sincere sympathies. Hazel and I contemplated coming up to the funeral tomorrow, but I'm sure the church in Brussels will be filled to capacity with the kind of gentile man, David was. Please know we are thinking of you.

Dear Jeanette and extended family: My sympathies go out to you at this time. I only had the privilege of knowing David for a very short time. He always had a big smile despite the pain I am sure he was going through and a great sense of humour. I am sure you will have lots of happy memories. Remembering you in prayer. Yours sincerely, Hazel Sinclair

To Dave's Family I was saddened to learn of Dave's passing, after I had returned home from a trip to Florida. Dave was a very good friend during our undergraduate days at O.A.C., Class '60. We both started careers at Canada Packers and I saw him there occasionally. Although I left the company to go into teaching, I did see Dave at many Class '60 reunions and we always had good chats. He had a warm smile and a wonderful sense of humour. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his family at this time. Kindest regards, David Fleming
