Lorne Draper of Brussels passed away at his residence on Friday, December 2, 2005. Born in Wingham on June 5, 1933, Lorne was in his 73rd year. Lorne was the beloved husband of Jane and dear father to Juanita Draper of Grand Bend, Kevin Draper of London, Rob Willie and his wife Jen of Listowel, Paul Willie and his wife Miranda of Belgrave, Lori Vader and her husband Mike of Brussels, George Coates and his wife Linda of London and Brad Coates and his wife Marcia of Vanastra. Also loved by his 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister Ellen McPherson and her husband Lloyd of Teeswater and his cousin Shirley Langridge and her husband Dennis of Wingham. Predeceased by his step daughter Janice Heard and grandson Gavin John. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Tuesday, December 6th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Tom Wilson officiating. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the the Children's Wish Foundation.
